Car rental at Olbia Airport

Great service no issues. Made the booking and was a little nervous when we seen the 2.5 star rating. Service was spot on, everything as expected. They even upgraded our booked car to a larger size and automatic which was appreciated as this was out first time driving on the opposite side (UK).

After seeing the low ratings, I was apprehensive about the service I might receive from this company. However, Giorgia, was incredibly friendly and made the entire process incredibly smooth. We only had to wait a bit longer because some people arrived unprepared, once it was our turn, it took less than 15 minutes. Booked at Autovia through a Dutch agency, which made everything taken care of. Pick-up was easy and the explanation of everything was well laid out. We booked an Opel Corsa or similar and we got a huge DR crossover SUV, so that was a lovely surprise. Return was smooth as anything and the communication was friendly.

Helpful front desk in the terminal. Fair price and also bought the breakdown cover. Given brief instructions how to pick up car on foot but could have done with a simple map (we wandered through multiple car parks pressing the remote). I had an issue with EasyJet car hire, and Fabio (manager at Autovia) was very helpful and tried to assist me on sorting things out with EasyJet. Unfortunately EasyJet was not willing to help a customer of them, but Fabio helped me to get a car from another company, he even picked up the car on my behalf and brought it to Autovia. I'd definitely recommend Autovia for anyone going to Sardinia.

Good prices. Friendly helpful staff. Hard to find the shuttle pickup place at the airport. Can get very busy. Beware the Fiat Panda - no built in satnav and nowhere to put your phone!

The car was new. Service was fine. I cannot confirm reports of other customers about cleaning fees. We returned the car not cleaned and it was accepted without issue. I booked via a third party broker though. Please note that the car station is not at the airport itself but a 3 min drive away. There is a shuttle service.

The service is very good, the cars almost new and in a very good condition, clean etc etc.

When we arrived, we could not find the car rental. Not a pleasant start to the vacation, especially at night around 10:00. A sign or info in advance would have helped, so one point less. Overall - very good. We had a nice new clean vehicle and the staff were very friendly. The only issue was that is was difficult to walk to from Olbia airport (we thought it was with the other rental companies but it is not, its a small drive away and they offer a shuttle), we tried to walk and got caught up in a maze of construction and temporary fencing but thankfully one of the very kind staff came and collected us from the side of the road....
