Booked through SecretEscapes. Waited 50mins in a queue to pick up as there was only 1 person manning the desk...but, they gave us a free upgrade on the car for the long wait. We were also upsold £80 on the insurance policy, but seemed worth the money. We had no issues with the car, and drop off was quick and easy. There are plenty of petrol stations within 10mins of the airport to return the car on a full tank.
Having read all the bad reviews, we were prepared for the worst - BUT EVERYTHING WENT WELL. Staff was actually friendly, not aggressively selling insurance (so we just went with the external insurance we already paid for). Also, there were no claims for damages when we gave the car back. Really happy with quick service. The car park is a bit dark so it’s hard to see if there are any scoffs/dents that aren’t marked up. But otherwise all good and the car was in good condition.

After reading so many reviews about autovia I was skeptical and almost cancelled my booking and went with another company. Glad I didn’t as they were great. If Flying into PSA all the rental company’s are about a 10min walk (just follow the red walkway out of arrivals) There was only a little bit of upsell at the desk which we declined as we already purchased gold insurance cover. I was very sceptical about hiring a car as this was my first time, and considering the roads in Italy. However, I had a really great experience. My car was upgraded from a corsa to a Volkswagen T roc which was great. The car was extremely clean. I highlighted a few scratches that weren’t on the paperwork and the gentleman at reception was happy to help and the return of the vehicle was very smooth. would absolutely recommend and use again.
We arrived in the evening, walked to the car rental center in about 5 minutes. We were equipped quickly at the counter. We received a similar car model to the one we reserved. The car was almost new, clean and in good condition, a little scratched, noted in the log. Also, when handing over the car, everything went without any problems. Good experience. You pay for what you get. Car was not super clean or in new state. But it is Italy and staff was friendly. So far no indication the credit card reservation is (partly) kept for whatever reason rentals usually make up. So I am happy enough.

All is the best for rent a car good staff and nice place
flew into pisa from rotterdam. Look carefully at the airport where to stand for the shuttlebus, it is not the 'main' shuttle spot. No lines, we were on our way in a brand new spotless Fiat Tipo within 15 minutes, return was as easy as picking up. We had incredible value on this rental. recommended.
