Car rental at Alghero Airport

Booked a Peugeot 2008, received a MG ZS (upgrade).
The car was decent, with 7000 km on it.

The exterior was ok, but with scratches every now and then. We made 2500 km in our 2 weeks Journey wihoiut any problems.

We didn't have fool insurance from them, we had it from wizzair. We made the million photos for each one.

On return all went well. So, good luck to you too and may you have the same luck as we did.

The car rental process was relatively quick, as I had the option to send the completed form with all the required information in advance. On site, I only had to make a brief declaration, was informed about the relevant parts of the contract and where to find the necessary information, and then paid for the insurance and rental fee. It was very easy to book and pick up the car, but there were no instructions about where the car should be parked when returning it.

Also, the policy requiring the windshield to be clean is not quite reasonable, especially since the windshield washer fluid tank was empty when I picked up the car. The same applies to the carpets, considering that when you rent a car on an island, you will obviously be going to the beach.

We were very satisfied with our automatic car. The staff was very professional, fast check-in/out at airport.

I had rent the Opel Corsa with Audiovia. You can either connect your own Tomtom or connect to the navigator of the car. Remember to bring the usb cable that has the same connection with Samsung
I drove in Sardinia about 1000 Km and it had never problems. Very easy and comfortable to drive it. It works with gas fuel ( benzina).

Good experience in general, and delivery experience in particular. The man who checked the car was kind, communicative and willing to listen. His collegue at the counter was late,so i had to wait for him for 20 minutes, and he spoke like a vending machine trying to sell me extra insurance i didnt need. We got almost brand new VW Polo, and the car delivered on Sardegna roads.👍

Received brand new Kia Sportage automatic diesel with just 5kkm on the odometer. Checkin at airport was very fast and no long waiting lines. Purchased upfront full coverage insurance when booking through DiscoveryCars, so there were no hidden fees or additional costs at checkin. Noticed a big attention sheet on the desk that car has to be clean outside and inside, so beware of it!!!

Very polite and fast service.

I have been given a almost brand new car, a few days old, however the waiting time at the pickup desk 30 minutes plus should be improved. The drop off was fast only 2 minutes. Over all the experience was good.
