Take the insurance directly with them and u won’t have problems. We had a booking.com insurance but it didn’t cover it completely as our credit card was not accepted by Autovia.. luckily we were reimbursed by booking.com but I suggest for all of you to avoid doing it and to take the insurance directly with the company to avoid problems at arrival. Giorgio who picked up the car was a nice guy as well as 2 ladies at the front desk!

Great experience! At first, they gave me a different car in the same class, but they quickly accommodated my request to switch to the exact model I reserved. No pressure to buy insurance and the drop-off was a breeze; they didn't go looking for every little scratch. Everything was sorted in 5 minutes. Definitely recommend!
Rented a car twice with ecovia and had no issues. You have to use common sense and read the terms, most importantly, have a physical credit card, not debit. They tell you this on the website multiple times, yet during my 10 minutes at the counter, two different groups came in without a credit card...
